Ruth began practicing yoga in 2008 after going with her friend to a class "to see what it was all about". It was love-at-first-class and Ruth has been practicing regularly ever since.
After becoming increasingly deflated and stressed out with the 9-5, Ruth took the plunge in to teaching yoga in 2014. Spending that summer completely immersed in yoga, classes began in September of that year.
Ruth's teaching style is light-hearted and fun and this is reflected in the classes. Whilst mainly focusing on the physical side of the practice, we always spend time in meditation and relaxation at the end of each class.
Ruth continues to train and develop her teaching skills by attending regular yoga workshops, teacher training days and self study. In 2015 she trained in the deeply restorative Yin Yoga & Yoga Nidra and this year she trained with Yoga Kidz as a Pregnancy, Birthing and Post Natal yoga teacher.
