During these Post Natal Yoga Classes we will be working through specific post natal yoga poses to bring strength, tone and relaxation back to the body.
Key areas we work on are the hips, lower back, shoulders and core & pelvic floor muscles. We also spend time relaxing and in meditation to help heal our bodies.
Finding some 'me time' (yes it is possible!) will help you to cope better with stress, lack of sleep and will increase your energy levels and mood.
Babies are welcome to join you in this class - this can be on your mat, on their own mat or just playing alongside you. We believe a relaxed Mamma = a relaxed baby!
These classes are suitable from 6 weeks after the birth (as long as the Dr has signed you off). We recommend you wait at least 8 -10 weeks after a caesarean (again, as long as the Dr has signed you off).
