Quiet Resilience

A One Night Retreat for Women

Saturday 23rd - Sunday 24th January 2027

Worcestershire

A one night Yoga & Health Coaching Retreat in January, to help you step out of overwhelm and into a more resilient you.

What to Expect

It’s 2026 and women everywhere are feeling overwhelmed. Not because they are lazy or can’t cope, but because they are absolutely exhausted from holding everything together, all the time.

They are women just like you - capable, organised and relied upon at home, at work, in relationships, as carers or mothers. But at some point, carrying all these expectations and responsibilities becomes too heavy and something has to give.

This doesn’t mean you need to try harder, support your friends & family more or become more efficient and organised, you just need some time to understand your capacity, without blaming/shaming yourself.

What is Overwhelm anyway?

Overwhelm is so common in our modern lives, because we take on so much! We have careers whilst running households and looking after others, it sometimes feels like time is against us. Overwhelm can show up as many different things, it could be:

  • Exhaustion

  • Feeling achey & stiff

  • Zero motivation

  • Low energy

  • Brain fog

  • No interest in anything

  • Struggling to stay consistent

And also it can show up as the complete opposite:

  • Tired but wired & unable to sleep

  • Overthinking

  • Anxiety

  • Restlessness

  • Lots of racing thoughts

  • Shallow breathing

  • Fast heart rate

Many women crave community, connection and a safe space with people who “get it” when they are feeling overwhelmed, so this is your invitation to Quiet Resilience, a one night Yoga & Health Retreat to help you step out of overwhelm and into a more resilient you.

The Retreat is held at the Bank House Hotel near Worcester, with a view over the beautiful Malvern Hills and easy access to public transport & the motorway.

Yoga for Overwhelm

One of the best ways to manage overwhelm is to connect with your body and your breath, so we will be starting the Retreat with a Yoga class full of grounding, steady poses (suitable for all levels) and deep breathing to quieten your nervous system. Whether you’re feeling restless or exhausted, Yoga can help you navigate life’s ups and downs with resilience, so that you can find calm and stability in whatever chaos is thrown at you.

Saturday will close with a soothing Restorative Yoga class, with a Yoga Nidra, to take you down into a rest and digest state, that your overwhelmed body & mind have been craving. In this class, we’ll use blankets & cushions to feel completely supported, whilst we remain laying down or seated (no standing poses). Yoga Nidra (or Yogic Sleep as it is often called), helps take your body out of it’s “fight or flight” stresses state and into a deep relaxation, where you can reset, rest and recover.

There will be one final Yoga session on Sunday morning, to really help you stay grounded and calm as you return back to your everyday life.

Group Health Coaching for Overwhelm & Resilience

Alongside being an incredible Retreat Chef, Kirsten is now a Royal Society for Public Health qualified Health Coach and will be running a group coaching session on ways you can manage your overwhelm and build resilience.

If you are feeling like you're juggling everything and running on empty, you are not alone. And you have come to the right place!

Health coaching is a client-centred, collaborative approach that supports you to make sustainable, positive changes to your health and wellbeing — with you as the expert in your own life, not a prescription handed down.

In our session, we'll explore what overwhelm really feels like for you, and start building the tools to shift how you relate to it. Less "toughing it out," more "recover and adapt."

Confidential, supportive, and shared with a group of women facing similar challenges — you'll leave with real tools to take home and into your life.
